Deep Blue Day released in May of 2023, Sold Out

The zine was a 5x7 36-page booklet printed on a recycled uncoated photo paper.

The images in the zine are cyanotypes printed from digital negatives and then scanned.

The photos that were printed with the pretty prussian blue were all made in Denver on various film and digital cameras during my daily commutes around the city. The images I chose to print for this zine are of the quieter moments in Denver, that to me felt blue.

I started this project in the winter of 2023 when I acquired a UV exposure unit to make “sun prints” in my apartment when I didn’t have easy access to the sun. This project was a lot of fun and it makes me excited to continue to produce these little books with other alt processes that I love.
